With less than two weeks to go until Unfinished Business at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Aggression MMA has released the full fight card. The main event features recent Bellator acquisition and former MFC welterweight champ “The Real Deal” Ryan Ford (15-3) taking on the equally experienced “Hollywood” Dave Hulett (14-10). Also on the main card, UFC vet “Thrashing Machine” Tim Hague (10-5) makes his return to the cage after being released by the UFC following a loss to “Meathead” Matt Mitrione (5-0). Tim is looking to bounce back by knocking out Vince Lucero (20-19) in the co-main event of the evening. Hague isn’t the only UFC vet on this card as “Kid” Alvin Robinson (12-6) faces off against top Canadian featherweight Adam Lorenz (9-1) for the Aggression MMA Featherweight Championship.
The undercard has some great fights as well. Former CFL defensive back for the Edmonton Eskimos, Rio Wells (4-1), looks to get his fifth win as a professional against Mike Hill (3-0). A WMMA bout between Sy Jewitt (2-0) and Sarah Moras (1-0) is also slated. The two ladies are relatively new to the sport but a win for either just puts them one step closer to fighting for Strikeforce or Bellator. Given the depth of WMMA, a win is that much more defining just as a loss is that much more damaging. Up-and-coming featherweights Freddy Assuncao (1-0) and Baz Cunningham (6-2) will square off to close the prelims as Baz hunts for a shot at Aggression’s featherweight belt and Freddy looks to go 2-0 in a quest to join the company of his accomplished UFC veteran brothers.
